Martin House Business Club logoMartin House is a purpose built hospice for children, young people and their families. The aim of Martin House Children’s Hospice is to provide family led care for children with life-limiting conditions. The hospice was formally opened by the Duchess of Kent in 1987, to become only the second children’s hospice in the UK. Since then, they have played a leading role in the development of the philosophy and delivery of children’s hospice care, both in the UK and across the rest of the world.

ICC is proud to be one of the first fifty members to support Martin House Business Club, a scheme established to generate sustainable income for the hospice. The Business Club aims to raise £25,000 each year which will contribute towards a care specialist, who will work with, and support, the children and their families during their stays at the hospice.

“We are excited to be able to partner with Martin House and aid in the support of more than 400 local children with life-limiting illnesses, and their families. The whole scheme fits in well with our mission for 2015 to support as many local causes as we can.”, said Leon Wheeler, M.D. at ICC.

In return for a commitment of £250 per year for three years business club members have their company logo on the revamped Martin House website, have access to CSR opportunities, work with the Wetherby hospice on social media, receive preferential rates for fund raising events and attend regular networking events.
